Monster HTS3500 Power Reference Center

First, I am not going to bore you with specs and crap about 'clean power' and 'ac conditioning' because really, quite a bit of it is simply BS. What I can tell you is from personal experience. I have 3 of these bad boys in my systems (2 in my home theater rig and 1 in the man-cave).

So here's the deal; you are sitting there with fairly rare, old and simply irreplaceable equipment listening to records or such when suddenly the lights and everything around you goes off…Black out. Oh crap. In your hurry to find a light source you forget to turn off all of the equipment that have hard on / off switches and try to deal with this moment of uncertainty. Suddenly the power fires back on and you think wow - all is back to normal except when you check on your beloved gear only to find that the surges have literally ruined your equipment.

I have had over a dozen blackouts during the last few years and I can say with confidence and experience that these units - if they did nothing else - saved me from a ton of woe. Look, if you are going to fork out a couple of hundred for a good power bar why not get something better for the same price? EVEN IF YOU BUY ONE OF THESE ELSEWHERE you are doing yourself a service. Seriously.
