Official Auction Terms And Conditions

• All consigned items must be in good and proper operating condition unless otherwise specified. Any imperfections or repairs that may be need MUST be noted in the description.
  
• Reserve values must be discussed prior to consignment. Consignors or associates are not allowed to bid on their own items.
  
• Consignors will be paid out in full 7 days after auction.
  
• Payments accepted are; Visa, MasterCard and Interact.
  
• All items are sold as is, where is – no returns*
  * In circumstances where there is a blatant omission in item description and item is proven to be not as described,
  Big Valley Auction reserves the right to refund the buyers monies.
  
• No items will be removed from the auction until paid in full. A staff member will be more than happy to retrieve purchased item upon validity of receipt.
  
• Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject bids.
  
• Winning bid prices do not include GST / PST or 10% buyers premium.
  
• Bidders will need picture identification in order to be registered.
  
• Buyers must preview and satisfy themselves in regards to the goods being auctioned. A preview of all items will be available from 11:00am – 4:00pm Saturday, July 12, 2008. During this time items can be inspected for condition and quality.
  
• Once an item is sold and paid for it is then the property and responsibility of the buyer. Special consideration will be given to higher value items.
  
• For this special event commission rates have been reduced. These rates will be as follows:
  
  • Consignment values less than $200.00 will be 25%.
  • Consignment values more than $200.00 will be 20%.
  • Consignment values exceeding $1500.00 will be negotiable.
    
• Items registered and received before July 5th, 2008 will receive a discount in commission.
  
• Sale preview starts at 11:00am Saturday morning.
  
• Auction starts at 5:00pm Saturday afternoon.
