May 2012 Its official…I'm tired…and the new side is officially open! It took a HUGE amount of effort but the main 'move' is finished. I have to thank Brian (our head tech guru) and his boys for putting in some incredibly long hours, moving tons of stuff and keeping things moving even though there were times we all wanted to just stop and call it quits. So, to Brian, Daniel, Dusten & Cary thank you! You guys rock! New pictures of the 'store' are posted and yes, things are different! First, the record area has grown - to over 50 running feet of vinyl utopia! We also added two listening areas, pinball machines, arcade units and oh yeah, there is also a jukebox just to round things out. In addition, we have put out hundreds of magazines, from the 1960's all the up to 1999 and they are priced CHEAP! From the outset, from the few comments that have been culled from the masses, the new side has been called 'airy', 'bright' and 'refreshing' and we hope that this shows that we are on the right path. We also switched up the way to get in - just to make things a bit more confusing - so now people will come into the new side first. Also, the sales / service counter area had a HUGE facelift and is also located on the new side. The old area is now my little place to work on things - like write ups - and that suits me just dandy. In the service area Brian has worked miracles to get his benches up and running to insure that all products get the care and attention they deserve. We have built over 40 feet of racking, carefully carpeted to insure that things are handled carefully, to handle the sheer volume of repairs that are coming in. With the new side now up and running, we will now be putting our efforts into this years Annual Vintage Audio & Record Garage Sale! Yep, people have been chomping at the bit and we will be working our buns off (well, what's left of them after last month!) to get this sale going! Already spots are being booked so if you want to participate, call now and book your place! As always, if you have questions give us a call.
