It’s that time of the year when our lives turn to embracing family and friends both near and far.  For most of us it’s a time of reflection as it has always been the case at Innovative Audio.  Why break with traditions?

It never gets old when we reflect back on where we started and where we are today.  We are all enjoying the adventure of seeing old customers come back into the store, helping new customers start on a new journey into the vintage stereo equipment world, but most of all we continue to bring old equipment back to life where it’s possibly spent many years buried in the back of a closet.  Hearing about where this 50-year old amplifier came from – maybe from a grandparent, or from buying it with the money you made in your first job, or a friend give it to you hoping you’ll do something with it – these stories never grow old and we are so grateful that you made the decision to hold on to that piece and now be able to repair it to continue to enjoy those moments in your life once again where music made you happy.

It’s true that many of us hear a song and a memory comes flooding back, or hear a new tune that our kids said we’d never like, or heaven forbid you all of a sudden hear a new artist that is from a genre of music we absolutely said we hated…. and it takes on a new meaning when we take the time to really listen to the lyrics or tune.  I know I’ve done it and I’m sure we all have and so our journey in the music realm evolves and continually changes.  Of course there are our favorites that no matter what anyone says, you’ll continue to enjoy them, playing that LP over and over again until someone says enough is enough – please play something else!  But you don’t because of how it makes you feel.  This is what music has done for us and will continue to do so throughout the good and bad days of our lives.

As 2024 comes in an end, we look forward to being of service to all customers, both near and far, in 2025.  We will strive to continue to provide first class customer service and will always look to you for ways to improve upon that.  We appreciate each and every one of you!
